One night. Live recording.
Luz Michelle has been making rooms lose it for over fifteen years. Caroline's. Gotham Comedy Club. The Stand. A Ladies of Laughter title. And in 2018, she built Hard Headed Comedy from the ground up because she didn't want to wait for someone else to make the show worth seeing.
She was born in Bogota, raised on Staten Island, and has spent the better part of two decades turning real life into the kind of comedy that makes strangers feel like they know her. Off stage, she writes the Dear Luz advice column for Connect To Magazine and somehow manages to be a wife and mother of two. She contains multitudes. That's kind of the whole point.
Nothing to Luz is her debut stand-up special. Not a showcase. Not a set. A full, live, one-take recording at St. Marks Comedy Club, and it is happening exactly once.
Some nights you go to a comedy show and forget about it by Monday. This is not that. This is the night Luz Michelle puts fifteen years of work, three names, two languages, and one completely unfiltered life on record, forever. The room will be intimate. The moment will be enormous.
You may be able to stream it later. But you will never be in that room again.
